I knew we had some major design flaws. So we tore into it and found them. Here is how our engine strategy works on snowmobiles; the ECU is always going to do whatever it takes to hit the target max engine rpm of on the ETEC. The ECU goes for timing before boost. Added boost creates higher ICTs so the engine is going to always go for max timing before adding boost in order to keep the ICTs as cold as possible.
If you set the clutching and gearing up aggressively the ECU will apply whatever it takes to hit via more boost, timing, and fuel. If the ECU picks up on detonation knock it will not push the engine harder to hit its target. Your only choice at that point will be to use better fuel or come back on your clutching and gear. We hate saying the phrase altitude compensating due to the fact that other companies have been claiming it for years.

We designed a liquid cooled air box that is on its own system, so the temperature of the coolant will stay consistent. The combination of these 2 key features creates smoother power, faster spool up and even more torque. The kit is very clean and very easy to install.
We paid close attention to detail of fit and finish. The turbo holder comes complete with a red line performance tuner, turbo, oil tank, oil pump, tail pipe, neck, clips in OEM muffler holder and comes complete put together as a module. I saw a kit for a Phazer that claimed it was just about the same weight as a stock sled with the stock pipe and can. The claim for the phazer was 80 hp stock and at something like 12 psi with the turbo could make more but this pressure was chosen for reliability.

Go with a 4 tec or switch to a different brand. Boondocker makes turbos for yamaha 4 strokes, polaris and s, Arctic cat and 's.

Light weight and responsive. So it won't it won't keep up with a d and d cat but then again who cares. If you could by a HP Turbo that was quick and responsive and light weight then I say its the perfect sled.
